Our Values

Community

We provide opportunities for local people and businesses to be actively involved with the club. Our link to the junior club is integral to our success. We respect, acknowledge and celebrate the importance of volunteers in successfully operating our club.

Respect

We operate under the guidance of a Code of Conduct and ensure all involved with the club abide by its requirements. We do not accept behaviour of any kind that discriminates against or vilifies any member of our community.

Fairness

We operate the club in a way that ensures equal opportunity for all who engage with the club. We provide opportunities both sporting and social that are inclusive for all of our Surrey community.

Excellence

We provide opportunities for training and self development for our coaching, playing and training staff and our Committees. We review and update our policies, processes, and procedures annually to ensure they are kept up to date and relevant.

Integrity

We operate in an open and transparent manner. We maintain up to date records of club and committee activity.

and ensure we manage the club in a way that does not put it at financial or risks its reputation.

Our Goals

Club Improvement Driven Through Internal Growth

Operate a program that encourages our junior players to transition into the senior club, with the aim of developing a core group that underpins the sustainable success of the club, both on and off the field, united as ‘one club’.

Inclusive, Supportive Club Environment

Provide and environment where players, coaches, trainers, supporters, volunteers and spectators feel welcome and supported and that reflects a ‘single club’ focus to our activities.

Financially & Administratively Strong, Stable & Sustainable

Have a transparent and well defined & controlled strategy and budget, supported by a clear plan to achieve financial objectives. The operation of the club is driven by a Committee who has clearly documented roles and processes that are consistently reviewed and improved.

Consistently Competitive

Employ suitably skilled coaches to foster continued growth of a young and developing list and where possible provide suitable training for the players, coaches, support staff and committee to encourage ongoing development and improvement.

Active Approach to Develop Club Facilities to Benefit the Community

Take an active approach in producing development plans for the Surrey Park Precinct in conjunction with SHCC.

and SPJFC. Actively engage with Council and Government to bring forwards outcomes.
